Solrik blomstring

The canvas felt enormous once I started painting this giant sunflower—really gave me room to play. Getting the symmetrical petals right with the trick in the guide was surprisingly easy and made the flower look so balanced. I love how the texture techniques made the center look fuzzy and real.

I wasn't sure how the symmetrical petal trick would work, but the step-by-step guide made it surprisingly easy and the results look fantastic. My daughter's sunflower actually has that soft, lifelike texture she's been aiming for.

The sunflower is so large it really does dominate the canvas, which made the project feel exciting from the start. My son loved the symmetrical petal trick and was proud of how realistic the textures turned out.
