The tentacle painting part was surprisingly easy for my 7-year-old to follow, and the purple really pops against the dark blue sea. She’s already asking to do it again, which says a lot.
My daughter had a blast mixing the deep blue for the ocean and layering the purple tentacles over it. The glow of the moon really pops against the dark sky, and the tentacle stencil made the whole scene come together perfectly for her.
