My 7-year-old loved stacking the simple shapes to build the polar bear before even getting to the painting part. The guide for blending colors from light to dark made the northern lights look genuinely luminous, not just a mess on the page.
My daughter loved building the polar bear from the simple shapes, and the way she blended the paints from light to dark really made the northern lights glow.
The color-blending instructions for the sky were clear enough that my daughter could follow them on her own. It kept her focused for a good half hour, though I wish the polar bear’s body shapes clicked together a bit more snugly.
